Óbidos Medieval Market

Every July, the perfectly preserved walled town of Óbidos transforms into a medieval village. Knights, jesters, and merchants fill the cobbled streets; market stalls sell handcrafted goods, roasted meats, and ginjinha (cherry liqueur) served in chocolate cups. One of Portugal's most atmospheric and photogenic annual events.
