Every February–March, Adelaide transforms into Australia’s arts capital. The Adelaide Festival is a world-class multi-arts event featuring theatre, opera, dance, and music from international and Australian companies. Running simultaneously, the Adelaide Fringe is the world’s second-largest arts festival (after Edinburgh) — over 1,200 shows in 300+ venues, from cabaret tents in the Botanic Garden to intimate warehouse performances.
