Melbourne International Comedy Festival

The third-largest comedy festival in the world (after Edinburgh and Montreal), held every March–April in Melbourne. Over 500 shows from Australian and international comedians fill 150+ venues across the city for four weeks — from intimate room gigs in CBD pubs to major theatrical productions at the Melbourne Town Hall.
