The biggest and most colourful carnival in the Eastern Mediterranean, held in Limassol in February–March. The grand parade features elaborately decorated floats, thousands of costumed participants, and street parties lasting over ten days. The tradition dates back 800 years to the Lusignan Kingdom era. Fancy dress parties, masquerade balls, and children’s parades fill the city with joy and colour throughout the festivities.
