Consistently voted among Europe's most beautiful Christmas markets, Prague's Advent celebrations transform Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square from late November through January 6th. Illuminated stalls sell handcrafted wooden toys, Bohemian glass, roasted almonds, svařák (mulled wine), and trdelník under the glow of a towering Christmas tree. Prague Castle also hosts its own atmospheric Advent market within the castle grounds.
