Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF)

One of the largest film festivals in Northern Europe, held every November in Tallinn. PÖFF (Pimedate Ööde Filmifestival) screens over 250 international feature films and documentaries across two weeks, with competitive sections recognised by FIAPF. The festival is especially strong in European art cinema and Baltic cinema, and its intimate, engaged atmosphere makes it a favourite among filmmakers and serious cinephiles.
