A UNESCO World Heritage fortress-convent that was the headquarters of the Knights Templar in Portugal. The 12th-century rotunda, Manueline chapter house window (one of the most ornate carvings in the world), and seven cloisters make this one of Portugal's greatest architectural treasures.
