A naturally caffeine-free herbal tea made from the needle-like leaves of the rooibos ('red bush') plant, grown almost exclusively in the Cederberg region near Cape Town. Earthy and slightly sweet, it's South Africa's most famous export tea and widely available everywhere from cafes to supermarkets.
