Thailand's floating markets are as much a food experience as a cultural one. Damnoen Saduak near Bangkok and Amphawa in Samut Songkhram are the most famous — boat vendors serve grilled coconut pancakes, pad thai, noodle soups, fresh fruit, and tropical drinks directly from their boats to waiting customers.
