Nit de Focs (Night of Fire — Sant Joan)

Celebrated on the eve of the Feast of St John (June 23), this Pyrenean tradition fills Andorra with bonfires, fireworks, and fire-running celebrations. Bonfires are lit across mountain villages and flaming torches are carried down hillsides in spectacular processions. The longest day of the year is welcomed with dancing, music, and grilled meats around communal fires throughout the principality.
