Held annually in May at Nelson’s Dockyard and venues across Antigua, the Literary Festival celebrates the island’s strong literary tradition — most famously the work of Jamaica Kincaid, Antigua’s most celebrated author. International and Caribbean writers join local voices for readings, panel discussions, book launches, and literary events across four days. The festival is deliberately accessible and community-focused, held in one of the Caribbean’s most atmospheric historic settings.
