Celebrated nationally with military parades, public concerts, and patriotic events — the most significant in Buenos Aires along Avenida de Mayo and at the Casa Rosada. The Casa de la Independencia in Tucumán (where independence was declared) hosts the most historically significant commemorations. Across the country, asados and family gatherings are the civilian celebration of choice.
