Cambodian Street Food & Markets

About

Cambodia's street food culture is adventurous, affordable, and deeply rewarding. Beyond the classics, markets offer: fried tarantulas and insects (a Skuon speciality), grilled corn on the cob, fresh sugar cane juice, iced palm sugar drinks, and a dazzling range of tropical fruits. The best markets are Phnom Penh's Russian Market (Toul Tom Poung) for cooked food stalls, Siem Reap's Angkor Night Market and Pub Street food stalls, and early morning markets in any Cambodian town where local vendors sell warm soups, noodles, and rice dishes from 5–9am.
