Running throughout July and August, Split’s summer festival brings opera, theatre, classical music, and jazz to the city’s stunning Roman monuments — including performances inside the ancient Peristyle courtyard of Diocletian’s Palace. The combination of 1,700-year-old Roman architecture and world-class performance makes this one of the most unique arts festival settings in Europe.
